Plug cover is used when rewiring a new female plug on the end of your 50-amp RV or marine power cord. Gives the plug extra protection against the elements and a locking ring to keep the plug firmly in place.

Plug cover replaces a damaged cover or locking ring on your RV or marine power cord. Installing it requires the cord's connector to be removed and rewired, whether you are using a new connector or the existing one. To install, remove the old cover and plug, feed the cord through the opening of the new cover, and wire the plug. The new cover then slides over the plug body.

Today we're going to take a look at the Mighty Cord 50 amp twist lock connector cover with the threaded ring. This might cord twist lock connector cover with the threaded ring is designed to fit on for a nice tight fit. It is designed to be used with the mighty cord 50 amp detachable twist lock connector, part number A10-50FET. We do sell that separately on our website, and I happened to pull that part number just to show you how this cover would work. Now, this cover is a nice waterproof design. The total length on the cover itself from end to end is going to be right at 5 and quarter inches. Basically, when you have this connector, this connector is used when you run your pig tail wiring here to attach to the connector.
Before you run your wire through, what you want to do is run it through the connect cover, take your wire out of here, then run it in here; make your connections. Then, you'll have your cover on here that'll slide right over the connector just like that. That'll help when you go to plug this in and do your twist lock connector; you'll have your threaded ring here that you can tighten down, to give you a nice tight, secure fit. Then, you just go ahead and slide your cover off. That should do it fot he review of the might cord 50 amp twist lock connector cover with the threaded ring.

The weatherproof cover was easy to instal with the mighty Cord 50 amp twist lock. I also bought the appropriate Mighty Cord plug to instal on my camper. Everything has worked flawlessly in the year that I’ve been using it.
It is a better-quality product than the cover that was on there. You just have to remember to slide it on the cord BEFORE you wire the plug onto the cord.
Order got here in just in time. Good quality stuff.
Items received were as advertised and correctly fit the 4-wire 50amp cable that required a new female end.The weatherproof cover fit perfectly!
Excellent watertight connection cover. When used in conjunction with the A10-50FDTVP Detachable 50A Female Twist Lock Connector, provides an excellent watertight connection.

The product has worked and does exactly as expected. The locking ring continues to work as expected and continues to fit well.
Supply line hole probably best for 30 amp supply line, as my 50 AMP line had four 6 AWG wires, making it difficult to get the line through it without Vaseline. Also not even needed with the female replacement plug I purchased, as it is waterproof.

Products arrived today on Friday, 3 days earlier than expected...GOOD JOB!!!! I realized when opening shipping box that I had ordered the wrong parts for my electrical cord and called E-Trailer and talked with Jesse who helped me get the right parts that I need and they will be shipped to me soon, when all parts are there to ship. It sure great to find a company that is customer friendly. Will be ordering more in the future and will recommend your company to other campers in the future.
Overall please with service and product. The Female and male adapters had flat head set screws that were weak (started to strip with correct flat head bit) and really did not allow proper torque to be applied. The OEM had Allen head and you could torque it properly.

Put this cover on the 50 amp power chord to my rv I just installed. Fit the Mighty Chord plug pretty good. Will be protection against rain, etc.

It has to be cut to fit a 1 inch cord.

was a little tight to fit over the cord so I used some dish soap on it and it slid right on. Definitely weather tight.
